Kids Room

Ahh the joy of painting in the winter, no fresh air to enjoy, just the smell of paint. Hopefully it didn't retard up the dog or me too much, nor the unborn kid that this room is for :)

Specifics of the job, 3 coats of kills primer (covered a navy blue paint), then 2 coats of base color, then 3 rolls of 2 inch tape were applied to the walls in rectangles, using 2 different laser levels to make everything perfect. (tip, get a 360 laser level for the horizontal ones, no tripod is good enough to keep the same height all the way around, we were off by 2 inches by the time it got around. And so after 8 hours of taping and painting the squares randomly we ended up with this, well almost, a 2nd coat was required, then we were done. Pulled the tape off, put up the fan and wallah, we have the room painted.

And i will recommend killz2 primer, low smell, good coverage. I cant recommend the Benjamin Moore paint. It was a pain to use, it is more gell then paint, and it smeared more then it covered. The colors are beautiful, and it looks amazing, but its more work to do multiple coats.
