Learning to share with his Furry brother

A few weeks ago, the three of us were at Costco when Steve spotted this big, SUPER SOFT puppy stuffed animal. We thought Bailey would just love it...well, the minute Carter touched it, he fell in love with it. So we figured they would have to share the toy and they ARE. We put it on the floor for them today and the two of them were just great with it AND each other.

"Dude, you take your end and I'll take my end and we'll be cool."

Drinkin' like a big boy!

We bought Carter a new kind of sippy cup and he is LOVING it.

At the Botanic Gardens with Auntie Amy

This past Sunday, November 4th, Steve, Amy, Carter and I went to the Botanical Gardens. Everything up there looked so beautiful, most things were already turning to beautiful colors, although we were surprised at how green a lot of things were STILL. Carter did not stop looking around, he loves being outside and couldn't get over all the colors to look at.

Carter is getting all familiar with the gardening tools so he can help both of his grammas in the garden next Spring.

Hanging with Dad at the Japanese garden...

Catching some Zs with Daddy

Looking for a lady who loves hot, bubbly baths and long walks on the beach

We just couldn't pass this up...Carter loves his bath time, but when you add bubbles, he could stay in there FOREVER! We thought these would be great for a personal ad....

"I even provide all the bath toys, ladies..."

The CUTEST chicken there ever was!!!

SO MANY of you have been asking to see pics of Carter in his Halloween costume and here he is! Yup, I know a lot of you saw his pics in the purple dragon costume...well, being that he already wore that one and his Auntie Laura bought his two costumes while I was STILL PREGNANT, he got to wear his chicken outfit on the actual holiday. We trick or treated at Nana's house, Gramma Drnek's house (and got to see Auntie Laura before she left for China), Auntie Amy's (and he got to see his Uncle Andy too) and then went to our neighbors' houses. They all took pictures with him!

Getting ready to go and meet his public...

PLLLEAAASSEE don't make me touch the pumpkin guts!

It was Carter's first Halloween so after we went to the Pumpkin Farm, it was time to carve the pumpkins. As you can see by the below, our son wanted nothing to do with pumpkin guts....

Bailey is offering words of encouragement from the sidelines..."it's O.K. to touch it kid, and when you are, drop some on the ground so I can eat it"

Of course, when Carter had the reaction in the first picture, Daddy decided to see if he wanted to get a closer look at the pumpkin.

After all the carving, Mom and Carter taking a break...

Carter's First trip to the pumpkin farm

Being that the weather was so nice last week, Steve and I took our little man to his first pumpkin farm the Monday before Halloween. We had such a nice time, we went to Goebbert's in South Barrington.
