"Tootsie Time"

Here I am going for my last "rafting ride" of the season. Grandpa and I stopped at the dock to say hi to Maggie. Maggie doesn't go swimming like my furry brother "Bailey" does.
"Let's see if my leg will touch the water if I throw it over the side."
No my foot did not touch the water. Guess I'll have to do my leg lifts. Gotta keep these thighs in shape you know. It won't be long till I need them to run around the house.
Just resting now. You know it is exhausting to keep those legs going up and down. "Oh, wait a minute! What is this in my mouth? It doesn't taste as good as that frosting tasted, but it will do in a pinch."
Okay, I got tired of eating my toes and decided to pull Grandpa's nose instead. This will do until I find something else to keep my attention. "Is it dinner time yet?"

Grandpa W's birthday

Here I am with Great Grandma W. She can't believe "what strong little feet" I have.
We got a cake for Grandpa and Dad since dad's parents were not home to celebrate Dad's birthday in June. Here they both are making wishes. Grandpa's candles did not go out on the first try, so I guess his wish won't come true.
Grandpa is trying to show me how to stick my finger in his cake. I think I might need mom's help to accomplish this.
Oh no, I did it by myself with my entire hand and then first reached for my ears and then decided "hey I'm supposed to put these fingers in my mouth". Don't worry I will be a pro by my first birthday.
Oh darn, I guess it is time to clean up. This just doesn't taste the same. Can't wait for mommy's birthday cake. Yum, yum!

Sharing the Front Window

As many of you know, and for those of you that don't, we have a chair in front of our big front window which is Bailey's FAVORITE place in the world to sit. He sits there most of the day, keeping an eye on the neighborhood. No joke, the neighbors GET WORRIED when they don't see him in the window. Kids on their way to school look for him in the morning and wave. Even the Chicago garbage men STAND AND WAVE at Bailey when they come to pick up the garbage on Wednesdays.

Well, here is the ULTIMATE sign that Carter is Bailey's little brother...he shared the chair AND window spot with him. Now we have TWO watchdogs!!!

While I was taking the picture below, NO JOKE, two neighbors on our street came over and a car driving down our street STOPPED to look and laugh. They couldn't get over it...

The boys

Oh my God, Mommy couldn't pass this photo opportunity up! Not only did Daddy put on the baby carrier and was carrying Carter around, but then they sit down and work at the computer IN THE CARRIER. Then, Bailey walks in and sits down right next to them. PRICELESS!

Sporting a Mohawk

Post bath, Daddy decided to do Carter's hair for him
