More zoo pictures

It sure is hot inside this building. We better hurry up and get outside where it is only 99 degrees.
Do I really have to stop for this picture. Can't you see how warm I am?
Oh boy, finally we are outside and we are about to leave, can't believe I a so happy? Maybe that
is because I know I am getting presents.
Here I am after a long nap and back in air conditioning. How do you like my new zoo outfit? Do you see any resemblance? NO, I don't think so. As much as grandma was trying to get me to scratch my little head too, I just laughed at her and wondered "what are you doing".
Oh, oh, here comes another one of those funny hats. I know, I just have to humor grandma and try to smile. Oh well, I had a great day!

My first trip to Lincoln Park Zoo

Here we are, Auntie Amy and me at the entrance to the zoo. Grandma put the silly hat on me. Luckily she took it off right away because it was soooo hot that day.
Oh boy, it is cool down here! Look at those seals swimming around. I really liked seeing them swim. Grandma took me out of my stroller so I could see them better.
Hey, it that Bailey swimming inside this tank? I just kept watching the polar bears swim.
I got so excited when I saw the little fishes swimming around. My feet and hands wouldn't stop moving. Hey dad, do you think we could try the fish tank at home again? I really liked watching them swim.
Auntie Amy wanted a picture of the these little animals. I wasn't interested because they weren't swimming. I'm just too busy trying to grab my feet.

Carter's First and Second time in the Pool

Oh my mommy really loves me. Dad and Bailey are already in the pool so that Bailey won't be so excited when I come in. It is early evening so that my precious skin won't get any sun. Can't wait to get in there.
Oh I love this. Dad, Auntie Amy and Uncle Andy are making sure I just float around. This is the same way that Uncle Andy was introduced to the pool when he was a baby. Wish grandma would find those pictures and scan them in. That sure would be fun to see all of them when they were little. Right now I just think the sky looks great. Mom is busy taking care of Bailey now in the pool.
Oh, look at that face. I am with Grandpa and this will be my second time in the pool. I am just wondering if it is still warm.
Oh thank goodness, mommy has me and I can't make up my mind if the water is warm enough or if I think I like my fingers better.
Our new family picture. We tried so hard to get everyone to look at the same time, but you know babies and animals, we just don't always cooperate. Oh Well! Till next time. I sure have had fun.

Carter's First Dip in the Pool!

About two weeks ago, Carter got his first taste of the Wielgus Family Pool. Here he is all decked and ready to go, checking out the situation. Check out that COOL SUN HAT!!!!

He's already lounging on his own float! Bailey was so excited and wanted to jump on in with him...and he DID!

The two playboys, Carter and Uncle Andy, cruising for chicks.....

Auntie Amy is still on the fence whether or not she wants one of these little "fishies"....

Carter, Boomer and THE COOLEST HANDBAG of the century!

Oh yes, of course Auntie Laura had to get her hands on the eco-friendly Anya Hindmarch "I'm Not a Plastic Bag" handbag. It was made in limited quantities all over the world as part of a Green campaign; literally, when they went on sale in each country, they sold out in about 5 minutes. People were TRAMPLED trying to buy them. Every movie star in Hollywood seems to have one too.

Me and Gramma D. couldn't decide if it's a better Carter Carrier....

Or a better Boomie Carrier.....
