We're on to RICE CEREAL!!!!

YUP, our big boy is on to RICE CEREAL! He is sitting up in his high chair and chowing down with Daddy in these pics. This week, we're going to add in a fruit baby food in the morning and a veggie one at night to the cereal. He eats the cereal and baby food twice a day along with his bottles.

Also, so many of you have asked how his latest doctor's appointment went. It was GREAT! At 4 months and 2 weeks old, Carter weighs 17 POUNDS and is 24 inches long. His head is looking great and he will not need a helmet; what a RELIEF! We still need to keep him on his tummy alot and in the Bumpo seat, just to increase his strength and keep pressure off of his head.

He just gets more SQUEEZABLE every day!

A boy and a polar bear rug...OYE!!!

O.K....someone, who shall remain NAMELESS, was put on a white polar bear/shag rug when he was a newborn and had his picture taken. This picture has lived in infamy and shown to his high-school girlfriend very early in their relationship. He has been DETERMINED to find a similar rug for his son so we could take pictures of Carter on it.

Well, his wife made his dream come true and found the rug. These will be the shots we blackmail Carter with for the REST OF HIS LIFE. But doesn't he look soooo cute?!?!?!! Doesn't he have the MOST PERFECT BUTT EVER?!?!?!?!

From Tummy Time to the Bumpo Seat!

Again, Mitchie, Daph and Naomi to the rescue! Now that she is such a big girl, Naomi is way past her Bumpo seat so she VERY KINDLY let Carter borrow it for now. He LOVES it! He and Bailey love chillin' out on the couch and watching TV together...

Tummy time

Poor old carter has been forced into tummy time for most of his awake hours, and he is doing really well. He uses his arms now to prop himself up, and he can get his head all the way up, 90 degrees from the floor.

High chair time

I have found Carter likes to sit up and look around, so it was time to assemble the high chair. These pics arent too good of examples since he was sitting up on the couch propped up for over an hour before he was thrown into the high chair, and not to happy by that point.

Poor Bailey is used as a pillow to prop up Carter so much, though he does tolerate it so well.

Carter and Ginger

This is Carter with Ginger. Me and Ange have known Ginger for one year less then we have known each other. Ginger is part of the Rand Pool group. Ginger was in for her wedding at the time the pictures were taken, Ange was a bridesmaid in it.
