Carter taking over NPD

We went to NPD this past Friday and Carter was already taking over the place! Here he is sitting in Warren's office, who is not only a friend but VP of Client Development. Unfortunately we missed him but Carter wanted to show him how good HE looked sitting in the VP chair!

Carter and Mom went to NPD on Friday before the Memorial Day holiday to meet the folks I work with. He also had a chance to snuggle with his Auntie Kelley, who he was very happy to meet.

Nathan's Christening Day

So Carter's "partner in crime", Nathan, was baptized today. This is Otter's little man and he is getting cuter by the SECOND. Carter and Mom stopped by to wish him congratulations on his big day and Carter wanted some tips from Nathan on how to handle all of the attention; Carter's Christening Day is next Sunday.

Also in the middle of this picture is Jeannie and her son, Ethan. Jeannie and Otter have been friends since kindergarden, I think...I met Jeannie thru Otter at Northwestern. We were part of the "Commuter Club Kids" that drove up and back to Evanston every day. Jeannie's husband has been offered an amazing opportunity in Shanghai so the family is relocating this week to China for the next three years. Carter and Mom were VERY HAPPY to see them before they left!

So I can see that Ange can have Doh moments like my parents have done as well with the cameras. Instead of a picture, its a video, you can hear her say, "I think it took the picture, but no flash."

Once again Lulu's without Grandpa

So once again Carter had a taste for spring rolls, and without Grandpa!! So off to Lulu's we went. We have been trying to find Loren, who we met on a Munch a Bunch evening LONG LONG ago. She is actually going to Loyola for masters work in psychology, same school and work as Carters aunt Amy. She watched as Ange's belly grew, and has seen my dad eat 9 spring rolls on his own :) Its a bad picture, cameraphone strikes again, always forget something when we walk out.

Meeting?

So was this a telephone meeting with the 3 of them, or just the 3 sitting on the chair? We will never know.

Actually I was just sitting on the couch and spotted the 3 of them and snapped some pics.

I'm not TIREEED

A couple of nights ago, Carter woke up around midnight for some food, and then was far from tired. He just wanted to look at us, and wanted to just stare at everything. So I swaddled him and he came to lay in the bed and try and rock him to sleep. While he was laying on the bed Bailey came cruising up on the bed to check out what was up, I was worried he was gonna lay on him. Instead, he just laid down right next to him, and thus we have the 2 heads next to each other.

Orthopedic Center Visit

The 3 of us stopped by my old job, Orthopedic Center of Lake county. The first pictures are Teena, who I have known forever, used to ride home sometimes with me when I was in med school since she lived near school. The last picture is Dr Kane, who I have known since I was in college, he was performing one of the first ortho procedures I ever saw in real life. Him and Dr Cohen had snuck me into Highland park hospital surgical area to watch procedures when i was still in undergrad, passing me off as a med student when I was 19 :) Ah memories, DAMN I feel old :)

Milk Drunk

Here are some pictures of the lil monster when is milk drunk as we call it. Unfortunately I missed the really good ones, he was laying there with a smile on his face, milk pooled and dribbling out of his mouth and eyes were just slits. I laughed so hard that he moved and woke up a bit.

Visiting Theresa and the boys

Ange stopped out to see Theresa and her two little boys, who I heard were so cute with Carter, all concerned with him and wanting to help. They are hired for daycare :) There will be more pictures, some were made as vids, DOH.

This is one of the CUTEST outfits which he got from his cousin, Jessica (my niece). The hat is still a little too big but the rest is just right!!

Here are some pictures of Carter and I with our dear friends, Mitchell and Daphna and their INCREDIBLY BEAUTIFUL daughter, Naomi. Seriously, this little girl should be in every Gap ad, you can't take your eyes off of her she is so gorgeous. She is also one of the happiest little girls I've ever met and if she isn't smiling or laughing, she is doing things to make YOU laugh. I think we should arrange the marriage NOW....

Carter with Dr. Sibul and Sira

This is my Ob/Gyn, my beloved Dr. Mark Sibul (or as I call him, Marky-Mark). He was the man who took such great loving care of Carter for 9 1/2 months before he decided to come out into the world. Also pictured below is Sira, the most wonderful assistant to Doc. She is the sweetest person I have ever met; there should be more people like Mark and Sira in the world. I have never received such incredible medical care in my life.
